Ms. Gold has over ten years experience empowering agencies and organizations to increase their capacity for bridging gaps in coordination, communication, and emergency response planning. Ms. Gold has assisted organizations in the Federal, State, local and private sectors with developing emergency response plans and exercising those plans. She has trained multiple organizations on preparedness and response under contract with the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the US Department of Health and Human Services. Using expert training skills and ability to create synergistic work processes, Ms. Gold has vastly enhanced communication among individuals in a variety of settings. She been referred to as, “…an excellent facilitator, [who] kept things moving, identified cross agency/community issues—excellent at tying it all together.”


Ms. Gold has designed and delivered a series of emergency planning, response, and recovery exercises to departments of education, public health agencies, emergency management agencies, hospitals, other first responders, and major league sports arenas to identify areas for further planning and training. Her public health subject matter expertise assists clients to: validate plans; policies and procedures; clarify roles and responsibilities; identify gaps in resources needed to implement plans; improve individual and team performance; and test communication. She has received numerous commendations from State, county, and city representatives for her material development and presentation and facilitation skills.

As an expert in seeing associations Ms. Gold reports the quantitative and qualitative findings from training and exercise events to clients that recommend improvement actions. By empowering staff with team building activities, she strives to assist individuals in taking necessary action to support an organization’s mission.
